The effects of diet on hair loss and health.

Your diet has a great impact on inflammation in your diet. If you consume food that are highly inflammatory then can increase the inflammation in your body and affect conditions such as Alopecia Areata.

Alopecia areata (AA) is an autoimmune disease associated with high levels of proinflammatory cytokines (a type of signaling molecule that is secreted from immune cells that promote inflammation). Chronic inflammation plays a major role in the pathogenesis of insulin resistance; AA can theoretically increase the risk of diabetes.

Adding a hair and scalp analysis to your routine checkup is a good idea. The first sign of disturbance in the body can be detected by your skin, hair, and nails.
